Do Art is a grant winning art and creativity program taught by teaching artists in an environment where exploration and play guide the artistic process. When documentation was required for the grant we decided to create a blog just for that purpose. The Do Art Make Stuff blog became key in marketing Do Art and attracted many students to the program.

The brown paper hand used in the logo is cut out from the discarded drop clothes used for each class. Do Art is VERY hands-on and each new student created a hand art piece traced from their own hand which hung permanently in the studio.
Do Art attracted creative kids who needed artistic freedom. Parents wanting to enroll their children could get a feel for the classes from visiting the blog which was updated each week. In addition, the site seeks to share ideas on making art with anyone who needs project inspiration.
